Clovis Power Obituary
Clovis Avie Blake Power
June 9, 1950 ~ October 18, 2024
Clovis Avie Power was born to Avie Blake and Lucille Richardson Blake on June 9, 1950. She passed away October 18, 2024.
Clovis Avie Power, was many things but her favorite job was being a mother, not only to her children but to everyone that walked through her door. It did not matter what you were there for, you were always offered food, coffee, a laugh, love, compassion and advice whether you asked for it or not.
Clovis was devoted to the Lord and a big believer in prayer. She loved selflessly and with no boundaries. She found joy in gardening, quilting, baking, cooking, helping others and most of all spending time with her family. She was loving, caring, compassionate, empathetic, cheerful and a little sarcastic. Her newfound joy was growing her blueberry farm Blue Sky Berries. She wanted to meet new people and help them make memories with their loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her parents Avie and Lucille Blake; a brother, Marvin Pearson; two sisters, Irene Orman, Louise Hurst; and one grandson, Jamie Larry Keith Campbell.
Clovis is survived by her siblings, Virginia Smith (Greenwood), and Thomas Blake (Sheila) Arizona; her children, Larry Keith Campbell of Eupora, Timothy Power (Heather) Morton, MS, Kim Campbell (Leah) Eupora, Cindy Porter (David) Florence, MS, Brittney Power (Chuck) Eupora, MS, Jamie Pittman of Maben, MS; sixteen grandchildren, Dorothy (Candon), Dillon, Haley, Brianna, Blake, Dustin (Haley), Matthew, Jared, Meagan, Kenzie, Kourtney, Jordyn, Jasper, Jakob, Katie, Kloie, Hartley; six great grandchildren, Seanix, Abel, Reid, Athena, Emmalyn, Aliyah and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Clovis will be deeply missed by all of those who knew her.
We want to extend our gratitude to all the relatives, friends and attendees who have come today to honor this amazing woman.
