Dave Rogers Obituary

Even though this is a late response to someone that I grew up with and loved as a childhood friend. He was an amazing person and family man. Smart was an understatement for him. He is missed and still loved in our heart. God has taken the time to call him home and keep him here in spirit with us.

Sorry for your loss. Working with Mr. Dave for Parks and Recreation in the Summer was truly a blessing for me and the children we worked with, as well as the Sundays that
I got to fellowship with him singing at various choir events. He will be truly missed.

I will never forget the years Dave and I coached together at Haywood High. He was largely responsible for the success we had with boys and girls track and field teams. He not only was a good coach, but he was a true friend. God bless.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. He was truly a wonderful classmate and could sing so beautifully he would bless me with one of the songs he sang in the choir every time I visited his church. Family you are in my prayers.
