In September of this year my wife and I attended the 50th anniversary dinner for the Pike High School 1975 graduating class. Many of our classmates had either been on the wrestling team, bailed hay, or had been neighbors, etc., of David's before he moved to Danville after Junior High, and we had a great time reliving some fine memories and experiences that we had with David in the early days. I found out last month that the people who bought my parent's home off Moore Road uncovered the signatures that David and I left on the concrete underneath the panel wall of my old bedroom in the basement that David's dad had remodeled. As such (and so many stories to tell), David continues to live on in our hearts.

David left a Facebook message when my daughter got married, 5/25/2024, and said he lost my phone number to catch up. My wife just found out why. David and I wrestled, fished, bailed hay, chased girls and got into so much trouble together since Jr. High School. The last time we talked he said his son had/was moving to Iowa, etc., etc., etc., and would love to talk to him, Cindy, Kevin, and Bill again. Most sincerely, Eric Dyken OXO
