Debbie Brown Obituary

Debbie Ann Brown was born April 15, 1962, in Rockwall, TX to the parents of Edwin Mack Jackson and Lola Jean Jackson.

Debbie attended elementary school in Rockwall and went to Austin Middle School in Garland, TX. She was a proud graduate of South Garland High School, Class of 1981.

She was employed with Head Start of Greater Dallas for over 20 years.

Debbie attended Eastside Church of Christ and accepted Christ as her personal Savior in the late 70s under the leadership of Reverend B.L. Garrett.

Debbie was a caring, loving, giving, passionate, talented and an ambitious mother. She was a beautiful, sweet, and family-oriented daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt and niece.

Debbie is preceded in death by her father, Edwin Mack Jackson and her sister, Monica Cheryl Jackson.

Debbie leaves to cherish her memory, her two devoted daughters, Courtnie Danielle (Francis) Mensah and Brittney Elise Brown; her loving son, Otis Ray Brown, Jr.; eleven grandchildren, Cambriya Ashley, Laniah Taylor, Je’Cirha (Taurus) Davidson, Parisiene Taylor, Brandon Brown, Otis Brown III, Collin Brown, Landyn Brown, Zaidyn Brown, Zavion Brown, Skyluar Brown,; three great grandchildren, Malaysia Jones, Maui Brown, Mylo Brown; her beloved mother, Lola Jackson; sisters, Maxine Daniels, Tina Jackson, Sherry Jackson; ex-husband, Otis Ray Brown, Sr.; along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Those who knew Debbie will remember her smile, laughter, compassion, and strong sense of values. She loved to love and the memories she leaves behind will be a lasting treasure for a lifetime to come.
