Domingo Medina Ochoa Obituary

Domingo Medina Ochoa, 85, of Perryton, Texas passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2025 in Perryton, Texas.  Viewing will be Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Perryton, Texas.  Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, and mass will be held Friday, October 24, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Perryton, Texas.  Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton, Texas.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

Domingo was born on December 20, 1939 in Pedernales, Chihuahua, Mexico to Cecilio Medina and Victoria Ochoa.  He married his wife, Maria Del Refugio (Silva) on April 15, 1963 in Mexico, and he was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Perryton. 

Domingo is survived by his wife, Maria Medina of Perryton, Texas; three sons, Jesus Medina and wife Penny of Perryton, Oscar Medina, and Miguel Medina and wife Salome of Hobbs, New Mexico; two daughters, Irma Palma and husband Jorge of Perryton, and Oralia Garcia and husband Martin, of Perryton; one brother, Juan Medina of Odessa, Texas; seventeen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.

Domingo was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Elias Medina; and two sisters, Carmen Medina and Victoria Medina.

The family requests that memorials be to the Alzheimer’s Association, 110 Mesa Park Dr., Suite 250, El Paso, Texas, 79912.
