Eldred Garland Taylor, Jr., age 60, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at his home in Chilhowie, VA.
Garland was born in Smyth County, VA on July 29, 1964. He is preceded in death by his father Eldred G. Taylor, Sr, and grandparents James & Anna Billings, and Billy & Nancy Taylor.
He is survived by his mother Mary Ann Billings Taylor; brother Joey Taylor; niece Abigail Goff; aunts and uncles Janie Mabe, Elizabeth Billings, Judy Billings, Martha Cline, James Billings & wife Barbara, Thomas Billings & wife Ann, Ernest Billings, and Gary Billings & wife Mary.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, December 27, 2024 at Chilhowie Baptist Church with Pastor Cody Sturgill officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com. Bradley’s Funeral Chapel of Chilhowie is serving the Taylor Family.
