Uncle Bob was a stalwart and patriotic man. I remember nothing so much as the feeling that we were always safe and sound so long as he was around. He had a way of making you feel as if all the dangers in the world, well, he was already taking care of them, so you had nothing to worry about.
He will be dearly missed. My love to all the family.

Very sorry to hear about Ozzie. Knew him at the shop and we played lots of music together. He would always call on me when he needed a fill in drummer. He will be missed by all that knew him. A new band member in heaven!

To the Osgood family;
I was shocked and saddened to have received phone calls from Shane and Marshall yesterday, informing me of Bob’s passing. He was not only a good friend of mine, but he was also a true patriot and devoted family man. We had many laughs together over the years, and several serious moments when we were engaged in police matters. Anyone who knew Bob was keenly aware of his ability to “have your back” during those tense times.
Both Bob and Tink had an open door policy when it came to welcoming a newly assigned Trooper into their home. I, too, am grateful for the MANY times that I was invited to stay and share a meal with them and the boys when I’d stop by while on patrol in the area.
It is my fervent hope that the Osgood family will be comforted during this difficult time by the many fond memories they have of Bob. He will be sorely missed by the myriad of lives of those he touched over the years. May he rest in eternal peace.
