Frankie Jones Martin Obituary

Frankie Lee Martin was born on December 22, 1946 to the late Leamon and Mae Ollie Jones in Liberty, Texas. She graduated from Colbert High School in Dayton, Texas, where she excelled in basketball and track. 

Frankie had a rewarding career in nursing, serving patients as a licensed vocational nurse (LVN) until her retirement. 

A devoted servant of God, Frankie was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Dayton, Texas, under the guidance of Reverend R.J. Revels Jr. She actively participated in the children's ministry. 

Frankie married C.W. Martin, and together they shared many wonderful years. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother James Jones, and her nephew Robert Jones. 

Frankie is survived by her brother Lawrence Jones (Claudia) of Tyler, Texas; her sister-in-law Barbara Jones of Liberty, Texas; her nieces Valerie Jones of Katy, Texas and Valencia Keener of Houston, Texas; along with numerous extended family members and friends who will celebrate her life.
