Genevia Buchanan Obituary

Ms. Genevia was such a light to everyone. I will never forget the quiet strength she exuded and will miss her dearly.

Please accept my condolences. She will be missed. I met Genevia at church events. I’m from St John AME in Springfield. A sweet soul will be missed.

Jenny the times that we spent together in Tucson, I will always remember those memories: Sunday dinners, our kids hanging out playing, spending the night with each other. Memories. I know that you're happy up there in heaven continue to rest In the Arms of Jesus

We sang in the Voices of Praise at Prince Chapel A.M.E. in Tucson, AZ. My daughter, Anais, and Jonathan were friends. She was a beautiful. God fearing woman. Genevia rest peacefully with God.

The thing I remember most about Genny was when you talk to her, you knew she would make you feel like you were the most important person in the world. Her personality and the fact that she was one of many reasons people felt at ease when in her presence. I am grateful for the opportunity to know Genny who was a good friend. Her love for her children , church and friends was undeniable. You will be remembered but not forgotten.

I am going to miss my sister/girlfriend so much! I was able to confide in her and she in me. Jenny was a strong woman of God and always tried to see the best in people and their circumstances. Genny will never be forgotten and I will cherish our friendship forever!
