Georgia House Obituary

Georgia Lavon House, 75, of Monette, AR, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024, at Southfork River Therapy Living in Salem, AR. Born on November 12, 1948, in Blytheville, AR, she was the daughter of the late Allen Cox and Georgia Bell Overton. Georgia was a devoted homemaker and a cherished member of the Lonoke Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Burt House, her parents, and her son, Scott Deason. Georgia leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory, including her son, Richard Deason of Lonoke, AR, her daughters, Connie (Greg) Amidon of Monette, AR, and Penny (Ray) Mitchell of Gepp, AR. She is also survived by her brothers, Robert Cox of Blytheville, AR, and Roger Dale Cox of Manila, AR, her sisters, Dorothy Sue Tucker of Louisiana, Diane Randolph of Missouri, and Vickie Carter of Enola, AR, along with 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, AR. Visitation will take place from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm. Georgia will be laid to rest at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, AR.
