Harold Eugene Keller (Gene) passed away peacefully on December 12, 2024, at the age of 71, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Gene was a beloved brother, father, son, husband, uncle, grampy and friend. He was known for his love of ice cream, days at the camp, selflessness, a big smile, infectious laugh and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it.
Born on October 3, 1953, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Gene served our country in the United States Navy as an Electrician for six years, some of those years spent serving on the USS Hunley.
After his time in the Navy, he worked as a Master Electrician owning his own business, working at Ray’s Marina in Milton, New Hampshire and a 13-year career working for Strafford County as a Master Electrician where he retired.
He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Karin (Stabile) Keller, his mother Doris (Fallon) Begin, son Aaron Keller, son Ryan Keller and his wife Jillian (Ripley) Keller, sister Joan Arms, stepson Garrett Goodell and his wife Payton, and grandchildren, Kolton, Desmond and Quincy. Gene’s legacy will be carried in the hearts he touched, in the kindness he showed and with the family he waits for.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather Leo Begin and brother Stephen Keller.
His sons will be holding a celebration of life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Gene’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association, VFW or another organization dedicated to the wellbeing of our veterans.

I have been a friend of Genes for over a half century. I have so many shared memories.
i spent more time with this most unselfish generous man who would always be available to you for any reason you called if even for a coffee.
Gene was a real Blessing to have as a friend.
He and Karin deserved so much more from all who knew him.
I who would do anything for Gene & Karin against all odds to help him through these difficult times.
No one was a truer more trustworthy
being as Gene & his loving wife Karin.
Karin did all that was in her power to keep Gene comfortable, happy, and content. in the last years, of what he had to go through and the hurt she had to endure with him
to the end of his life for this loving couple.
they suffered so.
may God in all his wisdom give her peace now. love Jerry

I've known Gene for many years! He was a great guy who loved to talk & share stories. He loved his cottage in the channel of Milton Three Ponds. We had a cottage beside him. I will miss him this coming summer. I'm glad you are at peace, but will miss your presence at camp!

Dad you were the best father a son could ask for ! You were always there for me and Ryan never thinking twice about it. We will all again be together one day and till then I will never stop thinking about life lessons you taught me in my 44 years here on earth. I hope you are having a party up there in heaven with your buddies that left sooner then you and uncle Steve and Grumpy. I will miss you more than I can attempt to express . I’ve also been trying to explain to your grandson about what happens when we leave to heaven he will miss you , he expressed to me he wants to see you and I told him he will again one day.
Your loving son
Aaron
