James Risden Obituary
James Franklin Barkley Risden, 89, of Wellston, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024, comfortably in his home with family by his side. He was born April 10, 1935, in Traverse City, the son of Sanford and Nina Risden.
James is survived by: his loving wife, Betty Lou; sister, Rosie Durga; daughters, Alva Risden, Debbie Redmon, LuAnne Mansfield; son, Dan Ashburn; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many cousins and extended family members.
Per his wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of His Life will be announced at a later date.
The Terwilliger Funeral Home, in Kaleva, is in charge of arrangements.

Was so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I last talked to him in early fall. Prayers for his family. I hope Betty is doing ok. Jim taught me how to type a special crappie knot . It was very hard but the way he did it. Again prayers for his whole family . We also played a lot of cards with him and Betty.

uncle Jim haven't seen you much but thought of and aunt Betty loved your stories and good times at grandpa carls with my dad and uncle Chuck there as well when we used to work the garden at carls place and cut wood on your property had lots of good times at the cabin on cool creek love and will miss you love matt .
