Joyce Truitt Obituary

Joyce moved to Colorado Springs in 1957. She led a vibrant and busy life. She loved playing tennis and golf and over the years was very involved with a number of non-profit organizations. She became a realtor in the mid-1970s, which later led to her opening her own real estate company. She was dedicated to her profession and very successful during her career. She loved her time on Sanibel Island, walking on the beautiful soft sand and finding many treasured seashells. She was a master bridge player and bridge director, loved traveling the world with her very dear friends, and enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and playing Scrabble. She was extremely dedicated to her children and grandchildren (especially during difficult times) and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her three children: Denise, Doug, and David (Julie), 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

At her request there will be no service. She will be inurned in the glen at Broadmoor Community Church.
