Kendra Wells Obituary

Kendra Arlene Wells, age 44 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on April 22, 2022.  

Kendra was born on October 11, 1977 in Calhoun, GA, daughter of James Edward Dockery and the late Denna Smith Timms. Kendra enjoyed gardening, roller skating, photography, and music. She had a way of making everyone feel special and always put others first. She was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. 

Kendra is survived by: her husband, Jeremy Wells of Calhoun, GA; son, Javen Wells of Calhoun, GA; daughter, Kelsey Shulas of Jefferson, GA; her father, James Dockery of Calhoun, GA; step-mother, Patsy Blalock Green and her husband David; three brothers, Anthony Dutton and his wife Brandi of Calhoun, GA, Derrick Mincey and his wife Chantal of Merrill, ME, and Chastin Yetman of Calhoun, GA; four sisters, Takowa Dutton of Calhoun, Mandy Gentry of Calhoun, GA, Amanda Ingram and her husband Hank of Chatsworth, GA, and Alexa Cabiness and her husband Marcus of Clarksville, TN; three grandchildren, Madelyn Shulas, Ryder Shulas, and Kash Shulas; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 1 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Dr. Bert Vaughn officiating.  

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 11 AM until the funeral hour at 1 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
