Magnolia Mullins Obituary

Mrs. Magnolia Jones Mullins, 89, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Clarksville Health and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Mullins was born on January 27, 1936, in Warren County, North Carolina, to the late Sam and Amanda (Perry) Jones. She graduated from West End High School in Skipwith, Virginia, Class of 1954. After graduation she worked in a variety of positions at Burlington Industries, Russel Stover Candies, and Revlon. She grew up attending the Manson Baptist Church and became a member of the Mt. Ararat Baptist Church after her marriage to Earnest Mullins on December 21, 1954, where she served as an usher and enjoyed working with young people in Sunday School and church youth groups. She also loved to sing and was a member of the church choir and the Community Gospel Singers in Clarksville, Virginia. Magnolia loved the Lord with her whole heart and lived boldly- laughing loudly, loving fiercely, and leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.

Funeral services for Mrs. Magnolia Jones Mullins will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, Clarksville, VA with Rev. Raymond A. Roberts, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday from 2 to 6:00 P.M. with the family present from 5 to 6:00 P.M.
