I have a lot of memories of him, he was part of life daily for a lot of my elementary/middle school days. We'd meet in the kitchen most of those mornings to pack our bologna sandwich lunches; two for him one for me. He wasn't a man of many words, he liked sci-fi and going to Sammy's BBQ on Fridays. I would always ask him what he was doing and his response would be mildewin'. I still see him full beard, cut off jean shorts, flip flops, and a pack of cigarettes in his front t-shirt pocket. I could go on and on. He will be remembered fondly by me, that is for sure.
