Sarah Sutton Obituary

Sarah M. Sutton, 90, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026 in Batesville. She was born November 15, 1935 in Carrollton, Georgia to Joseph and Lonie (Simms) Gentry. She was a secretary for Swift Trucking and of the Baptist faith. Sarah enjoyed shopping and going out to eat with her friends and dancing.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John A Delbert Sutton; her daughter, Linda Coralew; and eight brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son, Stephen Sutton; three grandchildren, Brittany Pretty (Donnie), Cayla Coralew and A.J Sutton; four great grandchildren, J.J Pretty, Andrew Pretty, Thomas Pretty and Jaysie Pretty; one great-great grandchild, Amy Pretty; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary-LaGrange in LaGrange, Georgia.
