Funeral service for Mrs. Jacqualine Dionne Clark, 37 of Gonzales, TX will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at Westside Baptist Church in Killeen, TX. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service (12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.) at the church.
Jacqualine Dionne Clark was born to Tarphine Spears and James Theodore Lewis on May 13, 1987. She was christened as a baby and attended schools in Kaiserslautern, Germany, Austin ISD and lastly, Smithville ISD, where she was a dedicated Basketball Manager. She was a proud graduate from Smithville High School in 2005. During her time in middle school, she met the love of her life, Cleveland Steve Clark III, whom she later married and remained married to until her untimely departure from this world. To this union two beautiful children were born, Kendra Clark and Cleveland Steve Clark IV.
Jacqualine was a beloved mother, wife, sister, daughter, cousin, niece, and friend. She has a magnetic personality, and a special love for the elderly, and infectious laughter. She was vibrant and also had a true love for dancing. Jacqualine departed her earthly home on the morning of January 2, 2025. We aspire that her memory is honored in a way that reflects the vibrant, loving and passionate person she was. Jackie’s vibrant and spicy attitude, infectious laughter, and endless love touched all of our lives, and we will cherish those memories forever.
Jacqualine was proceeded in death by her maternal grandfather, Cardell Tolbert, and both paternal grandparents, Beatrice and James Lewis.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: a loving husband, Cleveland Steve Clark III; her mother, Tarphine Spears (Michael); father, James Theodore Lewis; children, Kendra Clarke and Cleveland Steve Clark IV; a sister, Christa Paxon; grandmother, Emma Tolbert; a bonus grandmother, Irene Spears; mother-in-law, Margo Clayborn; two special friends, Brianna Ramos and Shane Taylor; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
