Surrounded by family May 4th, Nancy Curcio, claimed eternal life by losing her battle with cancer. Her humility and grace were amplified by the keen sense of humor she inherited from her immediate family. Nancy was a woman of faith and exemplified unrelenting character. She joyfully put the needs of her family, friends and community before her own. Nancy was generous with her many talents. She showed love by making beautiful things for others, or by serving delicious meals to those blessed to sit at her table-Nancy fed us well and kept us laughing, nobody left her home empty handed.
Nancy is survived by her five children: Angel Mead and husband Dave, Frank Curcio Jr. and wife Debbie, Tina Corbin and husband Francis, Anthony Curcio, and Gina Curcio her youngest child. Nancy left behind grandchildren whom she truly enjoyed: Jenna Curcio-Corey, David Mead, Mariah Van Deusen, Spencer Corbin, Hailey Mead, Emily Babiel, Sofia Curcio; she was also blessed with great-grandchildren Madison Mead, Casey Corey, and Colter Van Deusen. Nancy had special bonds with her siblings. She leaves behind Anthony (Lee) Harriman, George Harriman, and Claire Tobin. Nancy also leaves behind cherished sisters-in-law Deborah Harriman, Betty Harriman, Maureen Harriman and Adeline Restaino. Nancy was predeceased by husband Frank Curcio, daughter Nancy Curcio, brothers Harold and William Harriman, and parents Harold and Elise Harriman. Nancy has extended family, neighbors and friends who she loved deeply.
Nancy was intelligent, accomplished, creative, and was a trusted leader. Nancy and her husband Frank were lifelong business owners. In 1984, They founded Curcio Printing in Vestal, NY. The business is in its second generation of family ownership. Prior, Nancy and her husband owned and operated two Italian restaurants; one located on Long Island, NY, the other in Binghamton, NY. Nancy was known for her eggplant parmesan; she lovingly made it for those she adored. The years between self-employment, she worked as a nursing assistant at Binghamton General Hospital in Binghamton, NY. In the 1980’s and 90’s, Nancy served as president of Zonta Club in Binghamton, NY. In 2012, she founded a faith based sewing ministry; Nancy made many trips to Haiti. She organized fundraisers to provided free sewing machines to Haitian women then taught sewing skills that provided vocational support to them and their children. At the time of her passing, Nancy served as the president of the Sunshine Quilters Guild, and taught quilting classes at Phoenix Fabrics for over 10 years. Nancy also served as a lector and Eucharistic minister, was a member of Church Vocational Committee, volunteered as a member of the Altar and Rosary Committee, and participated in numerous fundraising endeavors at St. Andrew’s Church in Sackets Harbor NY. Nancy wanted to express her love and appreciation to Dr. Louis Bonavita and Dr. Anita Pudusseri.

I met Nancy and Frank about ten years ago in Binghamton through Gina, they were the kindest people I have met. they bought few cars from me for them and for for their grand kids.
they were very generous, loyal and very appreciative for the little extra things I did for them.
I was so impressed by their dedication to help others by volunteering in different organizations here and in Haiti as well to land a hand to the less fortunate.
Nancy called me one time to tell me" I heard you're raising money for the refugees in Binghamton, so I am sending you a Quilt with Frank that you can auction off for the event". that was without me her for donation.
I will cherish their love ,their Kindness and compassion as long as I live.
I am so sorry for their loss.

Nancy and Frank sat in front of us a 4:00Sat. Mass at St Andrews. They were always kind to my daughter, Stephanie. One Saturday Nancy had a surprise gift for Stephanie. It was a beautiful quilt in Steph's favorite colors, purple and white. Another time she gave her a homemade purple scarf right off her own self. We miss the both of them but know they are reunited with God.

I worked with Nancy for several months doing home care. I think of her often and wondered how she had been doing over the last few years. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She was always so wonderful to me. On one of our last few visits she gave me a blanket she had made. I still have it and am grateful to have it as a reminder of her and her special spirit. My thoughts are with her family.

I have great memories of Nancy, Frank and Gina Curcio. They ran a small printing business a couple doors down the street from where I worked at Catholic Charities in Binghamton, NY. A very professional and pleasant family to work with. RIP Nancy. - Dann Yeager
