Patricia Gruver Obituary

Patricia Ann Gruver went to her eternal home on September 25, 2024. Patricia was born in Spearman Texas on December 15th,1954 to Paul and Mary Gruver, Née Cotter.  She grew up in Gruver, Texas, then her family moved to Cimarron, New Mexico after their father was called home to heaven.

Patricia's passions were travel, baking, reading, crafting, and community involvement. Her biggest joy in life was her beloved granddaughter Jocelynne Salazar.

Patricia was a devoted mother and friend to many.  She opened her home and heart to many over the years and was never shy about speaking out on someone's behalf.

Patricia was preceded in death by her father Paul Gruver, mother Mary Gruver, Née Cotter, Stepfather Jack Olsen, brother Mart Gruver, and beloved uncle Charles "Pete" Cotter.

She is survived by her children Jason Gruver, Christopher Hiller,  Heather Taylor, and Née Hiller.  Her beloved granddaughter Jocelynne Salazar. Son-in-law Andrew Taylor.  Siblings Allen Gruver, Sam Gruver and Mollie Gruver.  Lifelong best friends Joanna Bray and Melinda Parrish.  Special nieces and nephews Alexis Gruver, Jeremy Gruver II, and Patricio Sanchez.  And many more beloved friends and family members.

Patricia will be laid to rest in Gruver, Texas on October 12, 2024, at 1:00 pm at the Gruver Church of Christ in Gruver, Texas, with a memorial in Cimarron, New Mexico following.
