Robert Martin Obituary

With heavy hearts, the Martin family mourns the loss of Robert Everet Martin. Robert, born on March 22, 1963, in Big Spring, TX, passed away on September 23, 2024, in Johnson City, TX. He was the beloved son of Robert and Lillie Martin.

Robert's strong work ethic was evident from a young age, starting work at just 13 years old to support his mother and seven sisters. He dedicated many years to the grocery industry and found joy in caring for lawns. An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, Robert never missed a game and cherished his favorite meal of fajitas.

Preceded in death by his sisters Caroline, Beverley, and Christine, brother in law, Jimmy Pace, and niece, Miranda Lynn Turner, Robert leaves behind his siblings: Mae Pace, Bobbie Smith (Brent), Michelle Franklin (Robert), Tammy Martin (Gary Stewart), and Paula Turner (Wayne DeShane). He also leaves a legacy within his numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews, along with a vast circle of cherished friends.

In honoring Robert's wishes, a private ceremony celebrating his life will be conducted at a later date. The Martin family appreciates all expressions of sympathy and support during this difficult time.
