He was a good, kind-hearted, hardworking man. He has an encyclopedic memory of places and how to get there. He always had an atlas in his vehicles and home. He also had a great memory for family connections. He loved to draw using colored pencils and filled many sketch books with his renditions. He also worked with wood like his Uncle Henry and built wooden wagon flower boxes, plant stands, carts, miniature semi trucks, bird houses and toy log cabins for his grandsons. He once painted 3 semi tractor trailers on the basement walls of his home. He was a problem solver. Give him a minute and he would come up with a plausible solution. He sketched many solutions on a piece of notebook or ledger paper.
More than all the rest, this man loved his family. He worked his entire life to make sure they were taken care of and had what was needed.

Dad, I am going to miss your humor and witty jokes. Your knowledge on all things mechanical and all the directions in driving to ANYWHERE! You were a special person to so many and you touched so many lives. RIP, Daddy...I will love you forever.

Kathy and family, We pray you find comfort in your memories. I will miss my daily conversations, with stories from his trucking days with my dad, to laughs about life. I will miss him but knowing he no longer suffers with pain, makes me smile. Rest in peace my friend.
