Rudolph C. “Rudy” Faix, of Sellersville and formerly of Perkasie, PA, passed at his home on Friday, August 16, 2024. He was 92.
He was the loving husband of Pauline C. “Bunny” (Sitko) Faix. The couple celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on February 19, 2024.
Born in Quakertown, PA, he was the son of the late Rudolph J. and Elizabeth (Wermuth) Faix. He was a 1950 graduate of Sell-Perk High School, Perkasie, PA.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, serving from 1952 – 1954, stationed in Germany. During that time he was assigned to play baseball for the Army, traveling around Europe playing other military baseball teams.
Rudy worked as a store manager for the Pennsylvania State Store, Perkasie for 31 years, retiring in 1992.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Perkasie, where he played on the church Softball Team.
An avid sports fan, he loved to play baseball in his younger years and enjoyed watching sports on TV especially the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles.
Surviving with his wife are four children, Steven M. Faix and his wife Donna, of Bechtelsville, PA, Kathy Simmer, of Tucson, AZ, Susan Priest, of Cincinnati, OH and Linda Hoffman, of Tucson, AZ; five grandchildren, Sean M. Faix, Matthew T. Faix and his fiancé Allyson, Colin Stauffer, Brandon Priest and Brianna Ramsey and her husband Jeremy and four great grandchildren, Jeremy, Faith and Jace Ramsey and Annabel Lee Stauffer.
Services will be held privately.

Arrangements are by the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, Perkasie, PA.
