Sybil Louise Cook, 80 of Marianna, Florida, passed from this life on January 7, 2025 at Marianna Health and Rehab surrounded by her loving family.

Sybil was born on December 6, 1944 in Altha, Florida to JJ and Louise Young. Sybil enjoyed spending time rocking in her chair, reading her bible and singing. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and being around her family. Sybil loved her baby daughter Pat with all her heart.

She was preceded in death by her brother: Jay Frank Young; sisters: Janie Adkins, Mellie McDaniel.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years: Marvin Richard Cook of Marianna, FL; daughter: Pat Couey of Altha, FL; sisters: Gail Hollis (Bim) of Altha, FL, Connie Hansford (CW) of Altha, numerous nieces and nephews.

Service will be held 11 AM Friday, January 10, 2025 at Victory Hill Pentecostal Church in Altha, Florida with Pastor Dewayne Tolbert officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery in Altha, Florida. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.

The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at the church
