William "Bill" Alvis Obituary

          William “Bill” Paul Alvis, 85, of Lake Ann, died Saturday, August 17, 2024, in Canada.  He died doing what he loved: traveling with his beloved wife.

          On March 18, 1961, Bill married Olivia “Jean” Courson who survives him.  He is also survived by: his son, Greg (Jody) Alvis; grandchildren, Kayla Marie, Kayla Renee, Kyle, and Brendan; several great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Danielle Alvis.

          Bill was preceded in death by: his parents; son, William “Bill” Paul Alvis Jr.; and siblings, David and Sharon.

          A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held from 1-5 PM, Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the Almira Townhall, Maple Street & First Street, Lake Ann, Michigan  49650.
