Yvonne "Toots" Record passed away peacefully on the evening of September 21, 2024 at the age of 85 with her family lovingly by her side.
Yvonne was born on August 31, 1939, at her childhood home and farm where she lived until marrying her husband, Chuck. She spent the next 65 years in the house they built together. Yvonne graduated from Farmington High School where she was a majorette. She would continue to toss the baton and do cartwheels and headstands for many years to the delight of her children and grandchildren. After graduating high school, Yvonne went on to beauty school and eventually opened a beauty shop in the basement of her home. Yvonne was an excellent cook and accomplished seamstress who made many of her clothes. She was even featured in the local paper in 1957 with a beautiful pink party dress she made for the Farmington Home Economic Style Show. Yvonne was an avid football fan and loved her Vikings. We wouldn't be surprised if this is their season to win the Super Bowl. There are no words to express the profound sadness and loss our family feels, but we find comfort in knowing she is in the arms of her beloved Jesus Christ.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Record; and her parents, May and Laurence Tutewohl.
She is survived by children, Lynn (Steve) Henry and James (Karen) Record; grandchildren, Michelle Fitzhenry, Devin Henry, Charles "CJ" (Steph) Record, Aaron Henry, and Emma Record; great-grandchildren, Wesley Inman, Lennyn Fitzhenry, Mica Henry-Rohr, Reece Record and Carson Record; siblings, Donald (Bernice) Tutewohl, Karen (Del) Finstuen, and Darrell (Sue) Tutewohl; and other relatives and family.
