Anthony O'BRIEN Obituary

O'BRIEN. On Tuesday 12th December 2023 after a long illness, Anthony aged 41 years of Royal Court in Onchan. Beloved dad of Shayla dearly loved son of Amanda Bell, much loved brother of Melissa, dear nephew of Robin and Toby Higgins, much loved grandson of David and Elaine Higgins. He will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends. A service to celebrate Anthony's life will take place at 2.45pm on Friday 12th January 2024 at Douglas Borough Crematorium. The family invite you to wear or carry crystals or semi precious gemstones to the funeral to honour Anthony's love of their said energy giving properties. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers if so desired may be made to Kidney Research UK (supporting the research of FSGS). Rest in peace Anthony, was a pleasure to have you as my best friend growing up. Living 2 doors down from me in Birchley Terrace, we had so many adventures. One time we bought marshmallows and jumped off the wall at the Archibald knox believing they would make us fly! They didnt but we just laughed. Fly high Ant, Im sad I didnt get to see you 1 last time xxx

Was a pleasure to meet Anthony in No ember 2022 and paint his flat for him. We became friends and admired his artwork of which we bought a piece. He was only 2 years older than my son who I lost tragically and recently also. I hope they find each other on their ongoing journeys. Love and hugs to Elaine, Robin Toby and all the family.
