DELORES GLASFORD Obituary

Jill and I just heard of Delore's passing. Our prayers go out to all family members. Delores was a true joy to work with during our six year ministry on the Island. She was a tremendous help and encouragement to me in my ministry. Her smile was so beautiful. We shall miss her but we know that we will see her again.

My heart sank when I came across your obituary. Ms. Delores I will certainly miss our occasional passings and our special greeting of "Hey Size 2 or Size 4" that you, Dionne and I would sing out whenever we saw each other, referencing my bowling shoe size (as well as all 3 of us are short). You where a beautiful, happy, dynamic individual. SIP Ms. Delores!

It seems I've known Dee almost all my life, from North Shore days, school days at Berkeley, the years working with Marlene, and beyond, her personality never changed. Always friendly, always upbeat, always bubbly and smiling and positive. Although it has been years since we last saw each other, she will live in my heart alongside her sister, Marlene, and mom, Phyllis, three women who really touched my life.

I know Delores from Liberty Theater when she use to work in the Union Bank and I use to work at the theater for 11 yrs. Her, Glanda and Caroline. I´ve cleaned all of their houses and also when Glanda worked at the church she use to book and get me and my partners plane tickets for us. Also she camped Coney Island every summer. My condolences to Billy and Dionne( primary school classmate) and the Glasgow´s Family.
