Susan Kimball Pegoraro

SPRINGFIELD
Susan Kimball Pegoraro, 80, passed away on October 30, 2025 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Springfield, MA on October 14, 1945 to the late Austin and Clara (Dutton) Kimball, she was a graduate of Commerce High School in the Class of 1963.
Prior to retirement, Susan worked for Mass Mutual and MicroTest Labs. In her spare time, she enjoyed volunteering in Springfield Public Schools and Libraries. She was also a devoted member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she dedicated her time and talents.
Besides her parents, Susan was predeceased by her husband Henry G. Pegoraro, her brother Austin Kimball, II and her aunt and uncle, Pauline and Elliott Kimball. To cherish her memory, she leaves her daughters Karin Kefalas and her husband Craig and Dina Christopher and her husband AJ; her grandchildren Sean Kefalas and Stella and Thomas Christopher; her siblings Debra Bourque and her husband James and Leslie Kimball and his wife Gigi as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 4 – 7 PM at Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 10 AM at Trinity United Methodist Church, 361 Sumner Avenue, Springfield.
