Larry Ellis Obituary
Larry Waylon Ellis, age 78, of Ball Ground, GA, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 17, 2024. Mr. Ellis was a pharmacist in Cherokee County, GA, for over 50 years. He was an active member of St. Clement's Episcopal Church in Canton, GA, for 47 years and organized the blood drives at the church for the American Red Cross. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 17, 2024, at St. Clement's Episcopal Church with a reception to follow at Davis Hall after the service. Reverend Dr. Jaime Stutler will officiate. Mr. Ellis is survived by his wife, Paula Land Ellis, Ball Ground, GA; son, Paul Alexander Ellis, Ball Ground, GA; daughter, Erica (Eddie) Blackmon, Fairmount, GA; sister, Kathy Ellis Gayton, Alpharetta, GA; and three grandchildren, Jonathan Mark Marsteller, Nicholas Waylon Marsteller and Jacob Thomas. The staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Ellis family.
