Margaret Ann (Houseman) Dunn, age 80, of Sabina, Ohio departed this world on June 30, 2025, and is now at peace wrapped in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Born in Sabina, Ohio on May 29, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Anna and Henry Houseman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William R. Dunn whom she married on October 24, 1970.
Margaret was a 1963 graduate of Sabina High School and worked for the village utility office before starting her family. She served as a Sunday school teacher at the Sabina Church of Christ and Sabina House of Prayer. In later years, she attended the Sabina United Methodist Church as her health allowed.
Margaret had a generous spirit of wanting to give and help others. She had a remarkable talent for creating homemade gifts. Several families have been the recipients of quilts, baby blankets, doll furniture and other crafts made by her. She also enjoyed caring for children in her home over the years.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by a brother, James Houseman and sisters, Janice Gates, Marilyn Mitchell and Ronda Curliss.
She is survived by her children, Peggy Dunn and Tracey (Scott) Sparks, and a grandson, William Sparks all of Sabina, Ohio; a granddaughter, Ashley (Doug) Frauenknecht and a great granddaughter, Nevaeh of Wilmington, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Sabina United Methodist Church to celebrate Margaret’s life on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 2-4pm. Littleton Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
