RUBEN LUTZ Obituary

Ruben (Rudy) Lutz Died on December 23rd, 2014 in Bremerton, Washington, at age 96, six weeks after his wife, Clara. Born on April 22, 1918 in Warden, Washington, he was the 10th and last child of Katherine and John Lutz. Rudy joined the United States Navy in 1942 and served in the Aleutian Islands and Saipan until the war ended. He then proudly joined the International Brotherhood of Ironworkers, and was a 65 year member of Local 86 of Seattle. Rudy leaves behind his three children, Patrice Watts, Linda Mahoney (Dan) and Steven (Laura), eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. His family will always remember his woodworking talents with the myriad treasures he spent his hours making, and his love for bowling, a sport he enjoyed until the week he passed! A memorial service will be held April 3rd, 2015 at Tahoma National Cemetery.
