Jose Gonzales Obituary

Jose O. Gonzales Joe passed on April 24, 2006, at the age of 66, in Walnut Creek. He's survived by his children, Cisco, 46, Michael, 44, Gary, 44, Celeste, 34, Jerry, 29, and his granddaughter, Caitlyn, 13. Joe was born October, 29, 1939 in Albuquerque, NM. He was raised there by his parents, Carmen & Moises Gonzales, with his brothers and sisters, Dino, Vangie, Paul, Alfred, Jo Ann, and Henry. He became a resident of Contra Costa County 45 years ago, where he used his trade as brick mason in Union Local 3. In his spare time, Joe enjoyed golf and spending time with his friends. He was loved by everyone, whose lives he touched, and will be greatly missed. Services to be held Monday, May 1, 2 p.m. at Higgins, 1310 A St., Antioch. With stories and food to follow at VFW Post 6435, 815 Fulton Shipyard Road, Antioch. Final services for Joe's resting place will be held in San Pedro, NM. Services to be announced at a later date.
