Darlene Maisel Obituary

Darlene "Dee" Maisel, 72, a 30-year resident of Severna Park, MD, died on April 10, 2024, after a brief illness. She was born in Annapolis, MD, on June 17, 1951, to Virginia Droll and the late Joseph Droll; she graduated from Annapolis High School. Dee enjoyed redecorating her home, cooking, softball games and spending time with family. In addition to her father, Dee was preceded in death by a son, Doug Maisel. She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Frederick " Fritz" Woolford, Jr, a son, Paul Maisel of Arnold, MD; two stepdaughters, Penni Jordan and Nicole Woolford; three sisters, Pam Bicknell, Iokia Summers and Helen Mainville; sisters-in-law Linda Habercam and Tina Woolford and brother-in-law Jim Habercam; daughter in law Lisa Maisel; son-in-law Dave Jordan, four grandchildren, Johnathon and Ellen Maisel, Emma Woolford, and Harper Jordan. are invited to celebrate Dee's life on Thursday, April 18 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County, 1815 Bay Ridge Ave., Annapolis, MD 21403. Condolences may be made online at:
