Kathleen Boening Obituary

Kathleen A. Boening, age 72, of Nekoosa, WI passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 24, 2024 in Nekoosa, WI.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Kathleen at a date to be determined.
Kathleen was born on February 27, 1952 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Richard and Rosemary (Eagle) Quinlan. She married Gregory Boening on September 30, 1972 at Our Lady of Good Hope Church in Milwaukee, WI. After Graduating from Brown Deer High School in 1970, Kathleen went on to graduate from Milwaukee Area Technical College with a Degree in Nursing. She used her degree to become a surgical assistant at the Milwaukee Medical Clinic for over 30 years. In her free time, Kathleen enjoyed volunteering for Irish Fest, golfing in golf leagues, and playing softball and volleyball. She also loved gardening, crafting, and sewing.
Kathleen is survived by her husband, Gregory Boening; children Christopher and Sean Boening; grandson, Nathan Boening; brothers, Kevin and John Quinlan; sisters, Moreen Hayes, Eileen Duffy, and Patricia Hogan.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Rosemary Quinlan.
