George Dykes Obituary

SALISBURY - George Louis Dykes died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of the late Raymond and Elsie Lowe Dykes.
He graduated from Wicomico High School and in 1951 was drafted into the U.S. Army. Upon his honorable discharge, he was employed as a time keeper at Campbell Soup until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalie A. Jones Dykes; a brother, Alex R. Dykes; three nieces and a nephew. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Dykes Lewis.
A graveside service was held Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
