Donna M. Alstat

November 10, 1952 - November 17, 2024

Lenzburg, Illinois - Donna Marie (Dickerson) Alstat, 72, of Lenzburg, IL, born November 10, 1952, in Red Bud, IL, passed away on Sunday November 17, 2024, at her residence. She had worked as a medical transcriptionist. Donna was also a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ in Lenzburg, IL.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Pearl (Rohr) Dickerson; and her husband, Michael "Bear" Alstat, whom she married on September 15, 1979, and who passed away on May 16, 2022.

Surviving her are her five children, Joe Broussard of Lenzburg, IL, Chris (Rachel) Broussard of Marissa, IL, and Shyann, Michael and Aaron Alstat, all of Lenzburg. She is also survived by one brother, Clay (Sandy) Dickerson of New Athens, IL; 11 grandchildren, Maci, Darwin, Joey, Miley, Makenzie, Conner, Alex, Jacob, Gabby, Kirsten and Mya; and by two great-grandchildren, Luna and Aubrey.

Memorials in Donna's honor may be made to St. Peter United Church of Christ in Lenzburg, IL.

In keeping with Donna's wishes, direct cremation is to be held with no formal visitation or services. However, a celebration of life is being planned.

Heil- Schuessler Funeral Home in New Athens, IL, is in charge of arrangements.
