March 28, 1936 - January 30, 2025

Orland Park, Illinois - Marianne T (Reid) Saunders born 3/28/1936. Died 1/30/2025 Age 88. She was born in East St. Louis, IL and attended catholic schools, graduating from St. Teresa Academy in 1954. She married Don Saunders in 1957 and delivered a son Bradley in 1958. She worked for optometrist's office in Belleville,IL for years. In 1996 she moved with Don and Brad to Gulfport FL to enjoy retirement. Don passed in 2006 and Brad passed in 2015. Marianne moved to Brookdale Assisted Living in Orland Park IL in 2021 to be close to sisters Joan Venezia and Patricia Schnyder who survive her along with nieces Stacy Schiffner, Jennifer Venezia, Jami Derro and a nephew Chris Schnyder. Special thanks to Jennifer and the staff at Brookdale who provided loving care during her time there. Also special thanks to Ann Louise Thyreen in Gulfport FL who supported Marianne prior to her move north.

The family will have a private service for Marianne and take her to back Florida to be buried with her husband and son.
