Pamela Rose Obituary

Pamela Ann Rose, age 78 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee died Tuesday, March 25, 2025, following a brief illness. She was a native of Charleston, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Billy Kuhl and Virginia Belcher Kuhl. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lee Rose, a son, Eric Duwayne Rose, and a brother, Don Lee Kuhl.

Survivors include a son, Adam Rose of Murfreesboro; granddaughters, Madilyn Rose of Nashville and Hannah Rose of Murfreesboro; a brother, Jerry Kuhl and wife Peggy of Bud Lake, New Jersey; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Pamela Rose spent over 30 years working at WalMart, not just as a job, but as a place where she shared laughs, and became a familiar, comforting face in her community. She truly looked forward to going to work every day.

But her greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother, and she poured her heart into raising her children and later, her grandchildren. She had quiet strength, the kind that showed up in homemade meals, warm hugs, and always knowing just what someone needed. She loved the simple things: planting flowers in her garden, baking something sweet, fishing on peaceful afternoons, and watching the birds she kept fed all year long. In her later years her cat Luna was her little shadow never far from her side. She always said she was happy-and she truly was. She may have lived a life that made headlines, but she lived one full of heart. She found joy in the ordinary, and that's what made her extraordinary. Her life was made of the kind of moments that matter most: The quiet ones, the loving ones, the real ones- and those of us who were lucky enough to know we'll carry that warmth with us forever.

A private graveside service under the direction of Woodfin Memorial Chapel will be Friday, April 28, 2025, at Evergreen Cemetery with Bob Bush officiating.

An online guestbook is available for the Rose family at www.woodfinchapel.com.

What a loss for friends and family. Pam was my next door neighbor and we talked occasionally across the fence separating our lawns. She was frequently sharing vegetables and fruits over the years that she had either grown or bought in quantity for sharing. I will certainly miss seeing her out and talking with her. What a very special , thoughtful and kind lady.

What a sweet lady! I’ve not seen her in many years but I worked with her at Walmart when it was connected to the mall in Murfreesboro. She and I had many conversations when I would leave at night. My condolences to the family.

Adam, you were one of my babies way back when. My last name then was Bassett. I remember your Mom as a sweetheart always wanting to help in class and being so kind to everyone. I’m so sorry for your loss.

I really never spent any personal time with Pam even though she lived in our neighborhood. At that time, we were both very busy working at our jobs and raising our family. One thing I do know she had to be an awesome mom. I have known, Adam since grammar school and he is a person that anyone would be proud to call their SON. Her love for life will continue to shine through him. Rest in peace.
