Hannah Peabody Obituary

Hannah Elizabeth Peabody of Sheffield, MA, left this world peacefully on April 24, 2025, after a short illness surrounded by family and friends.

Our sweet Hannah had a vivacious personality and a contagious joie de vivre. She sought out the flavor in life: delicious food, music, dancing, horseback riding, sharing a good laugh, and in "weaving up a storm!" as she would say. She had a playful sense of style and loved to show off her colorful personality: rainbow hair, two different colored shoes on purpose, and a Christmas sweater on St. Patrick's Day (why only wear it once a year?) were some of the many ways she enjoyed expressing herself. A true social butterfly, she would be the first to introduce herself to anyone she met and share her enthusiasm for life with those around her. The world is a brighter place for her having been here, and her sparkle will continue on with the many people she touched.

She had a very close relationship with her family: parents Maryphena and Mike, her siblings Maeve and Asa, a large extended family and countless friends.

My deepest condolences on Hannah's passing, love and hugs to Marybeth and Mike, Maeve, Asa and the extended family. I, like you, have been in shock since the news of Hannah's passing. She was such a bright light for so many! I have many years of wonderful times having Hannah, Maeve and Asa over watching and having them play, hike and swim together with Evella during the best childhood years! I want to share photos as memories ... sorry that I was unable to make the Keene memorial. Write me at [email protected] or call (518) 524-7771 Mike or Marybeth and I'll share. Truly heartbroken for you and all of us who were touched so deeply by Hannah's grace, smile, style and laughter! Blessings, Dan
