Joe and I were friends with Jeff in medical school. He was a kind, gentle, and warm man with a terrific sense of humor and we were sorry to have lost touch with him. I came across his obituary today, and am so sorry for his loss. I am glad to see that he was graced with loving children and a meaningful career, and hope that his memory will be a blessing.

I met Jeff at the USPHS in Baltimore, where I was training in medical technology. We shared time together and when I finished and returned to Arkansas, we stayed in touch for a while.
My deepest condolences to you and your family on his passing. I have no doubt of his pride, love, and joy of each of you being in his life and you, Serenitie, of following in the path of healing and care. God bless you all during this difficult time. May you be comforted by your memories and the laughter that you shared.
I wish that I had known of his illness earlier. He was a gentle and kind man.
