Paul Ornellas Obituary
Maui worked as a laborer in road construction until his retirement. He enjoyed building furniture, fixing things, and snowmobiling. He would do anything for anyone, and never had a bad day. He was known and adored for his jolly demeanor, loud laugh, and genuine warmth.
Maui was a loving father to his two daughters, Kisti Ornellas of Lanesborough, and Kristal Trimble of Austin, TX and a proud grandfather to his three grandchildren. He is survived by his four siblings, nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Sally, and his father George, whom he cared for as he aged.
Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hinsdale Police Department in care of Roche Funeral Home, 120 Main Street, Lenox, MA 01240.

I met Maui almost 33 years ago when we worked for Petricca construction together. Although I have not seen him in many years I will always remember that smile, laugh and twinkle in his eye.... He made working on the road not only bearable but fun. My sincere condolences to all of his family and friends. A great man was lost !!!

I miss you, dad. I come here often to see your smile. This is how I will always remember you, smiling with your eyes twinkling. You're probably just about to laugh loudly. The best thing about this picture of you is if we zoom out, Kristal is on one arm and I am on the other.
I cannot believe you aren't going to come over for dinner anymore or call Betsy "Peanut" or have a blast mowing my lawn. Rest easy, please.

Though I never met Paul, I am greatful to have know of him and of his daughter Kisti. I can not image the pain. Sending love and peace to the Ornellas family.
