Earl Essary Obituary

Earl Essary, Cape Fair, MO, son of Clyde and Lucille (Jenkins) Essary, was born on January 08, 1949, in Cape Fair, MO and departed this life on July 03, 2025, in Springfield, MO, at the age of 76.


Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Lucille Essary; four brothers, Donnie Ray Essary, Darrell Essary, Troy Essary and Lloyd Essary and a sister, Carolyn Curbow.


Survivors include: four children, Ashley Essary of Cape Fair, MO, Ryan Essary of Marionville, MO, Marci Noll of Aurora, MO and LeeAnn Chastain of Galena, MO; two brothers, Larry Essary of San Diego, CA and Jerry Essary of Crane, MO; two sisters, Gayle Stringer of Mt Vernon, MO and Anita Leyba of McCune, KS; grandchildren; great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.


A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2025, in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane, MO. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Denny McCrorey officiating. Burial will be in Mars Hill Cemetery, Crane, MO under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Earl for 4 months before he passed. He was a good man that was cheerful in all weather and a pleasure to be around. May he rest in peace.

Earl was one of the kindest souls that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I am blessed for having met him and being able to call him a friend. He will forever hold a place in my heart.
