Diane Brewer Obituary
On the morning of September 23, 2025, Diane Brewer, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and friend, took her last breath.
Diane Hayes was born in Livingston, Montana in January 1948 to Opal and Richard Hayes. She grew up in Livingston Montana among her numerous family and friends. In 1965, Diane traveled to Oregon to visit a cousin and happened to meet the man who would become the great love of her life, Robert Brewer of Maple Valley, Washington. Bob followed her back to Livingston and by November 1966 they were married.
Over the next 45 years, Diane and "her Bob" shared many adventures including camping at Canyon Ferry and Daley Lake and driving their restored 1950 and 1935 Chevys to Rod Runs throughout Montana and the West. Diane and Bob's marriage survived the building of not one, but two cabins in the Smith Creek area of the Crazy Mountains, where for they would go to relax until Bob was no longer able to make the journey. No matter the adventure they found themselves on, they always came away with lifelong friendships and memories that meant the world to them both.
Diane was a lover of people, and she translated that love into service. Whether it be waiting on them in a restaurant, serving them from behind a counter, or watching over them in their own homes. Diane thrived when she was around and helping people. She had a huge, loving heart that she happily shared with everyone. She always had a sunny smile and friendly words to share with anyone she encountered, and she will be missed greatly by all that knew her.
Diane is survived by her daughter Lynnette (Eric) Fisher, stepson Robert (Lois) Brewer, grandsons Dylan and Ty Fisher, granddaughter, Dena Brewer, and great granddaughters Bailey Brewer & Jaylyne Dressler, her sister Dollie Jones and her beloved cousins, nieces, nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents Opal & Lyle Hinman, her brothers, cousins, nieces and nephews.
To her family and friends - She cherished and loved each of you and the memories she held of the time spent with you was always close to her heart.
The family would like to thank Stillwater Hospice for the loving, compassionate care they provided for Diane in her last days. The family would also like to thank the staff and residents of Aspen View Retirement community where she lived over the past year. The friendships and memories she forged with you meant the world to her.
