Rose Ang Obituary

BABIARZ, BERNADETTE D. (SISTER ROSE IMMACULATE ANG), of Birmingham, Alabama, age 69, died on November 27, 2008. Sister Rose was a Roman Catholic nun with the New Genesis Order and a devoted parishioner and choir member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Hoover. Sister Rose had a Masters in Music from Catholic University and served as a Director of Music and Liturgy and Music Coordinator at several different parishes in PA before moving to Birmingham in 2003. She is survived by her sisters Dr. Mary Pat B. Hemstreet of Birmingham and Diane Elizabeth Brown of Schuykill Haven, PA and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. The family will be accepting visitors at St. Peter's Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. A mass will be held at 5:30 p.m. immediately following the viewing. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Mary Knoll Missionaries (www.maryknoll.org/ca), the Music Ministry of St. Peter's Catholic Church, or the American Institute for Cancer Research.
