Bill was my next door neighbor at Brooksby. Often in my apartment and I in his having vigorous discussions about a wide array of topics. He was Navy and I was Army and he let me know which service was best the first day that I moved in! We were friends and I miss him terribly. I surely wished that he could have made it to January 3, 2026, He did want to be 100! Alav ha-sholom!

Bill was a strong and positive influence for me in my early career serving Sharon Memorial Park. He and my dad were good friends, true professionals and of the same "Greatest Generation". It was an honor serving Bill and Sharon MP for many years. It was always clear to me that service to others and thoughtfully planned, high quality developments were always at the front of Bill's priorities. Bill was always welcoming and encouraging to us, and it was a true pleasure to help see his visions through to finished projects. Bill will be greatly missed. Our sincere condolences to his family and many friends.

It´s a privilege to call you family, "Cousin Billy." Dad (Warren) thought so very highly of you and you of him, as you shared with us, recently. Our deepest sympathies to all. Curtis and Faith (Morgan) Gaines.

My condolences to the family. His family was paramount, his philanthropy legendary. Bill and my Dad , Samuel Zaharoff were friends dating back to the Hecht House on American Legion Highway in Dorchester, Ma. Years later Bill and his family, my Dad and our family lived in Sharon, Ma dating back to the fifties. I went through the Sharon Schools with Ellen. Wonderful family.
