Bobbie Wilkinson Obituary

Mrs. Bobbie Bell
Wilkinson, age 90, of Toc-
coa, passed away Satur-
day, Dec. 28, 2024, at her
home.
Born June 13, 1934, in
Toccoa, she was the
daughter of the late
George T. and Annie Mae
Smith Bell.
Mrs. Wilkinson retired
from the United States De-
partment of Agriculture
and was a member of
Tates Creek Baptist
Church.
Family members in-
clude her son, John Ver-
non Wilkinson, Jr.; grand-
son, Kevin Blake Wilkin-
son; granddaughter, Brit-
tany Hope Wilkinson
(Adam Chabot); a great-
granddaughter, Elena
Wilkinson; and numerous
nieces and nephews.
In addition to her par-
ents, she was preceded in
death by her husband,
John Vernon Wilkinson,
Sr; a son, Steven Wayne
Wilkinson; and her daugh-
ter-in-law, Gail Carver
Wilkinson.
The family received
friends at the mortuary
from 11 a.m. until the ser-
vice time Tuesday, Dec. 31,
2024.
Funeral services were
held from the Chapel at
Whitlock Mortuary at 1
p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31,
2024, with the Rev. Jerrell
Beatty officiating.
Burial will follow at
Tates Creek Baptist
Church Cemetery.
The following gentle-
men served as pallbearers:
Blake Wilkinson, Adam
Chabot, Danny Dewberry,
Dan Dotson, Paul Hewitt,
and Bo Dotson.
