Paul Caskey Obituary

FARGO, N.D. - Paul Kenneth Caskey of Lake Park, Minn., passed away peacefully Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, at the age of 73.
Paul was born March 31, 1951, in Port Allegany, Pa., to Kenneth and Helen Caskey. He spent his early years in his hometown before embarking on his military career, which led him around the globe.
A dedicated servant to his country, Paul served in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years. During his military career, he attained the rank of master sergeant and received numerous commendations for his exemplary service. After retiring from the Air Force, Paul continued to serve his community as the dietary manager at Eventide Nursing Home in Fargo.
Paul was an avid outdoorsman, finding great joy in hunting and fishing. His passion for nature and adventure was infectious, and he often shared his love of the outdoors with his family and friends.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Mary Caskey. He is also survived by his four children, Dan of Saint Albans, Vt., Cindy Brinkmeyer of Dunkirk, Md., Chris of Sicklerville, N.J., and Tony of Reading, Mass. Additionally, Paul leaves behind his six grandchildren, Alek, Geneve, Madelleine, Loryn, Spencer and Jaiden; his brothers, Steve of Bradford, Pa., Charlie of Avon, Ohio; and Penny Stewart of Port Allegany.
Paul will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a devoted husband, brother, grandfather and father. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

So sorry to hear this news. May God bring comfort and peace, during this difficult time, to Paul's family and friends. Paul surely loved football! And oh yes, that blue, fastback Mustang! He had an infectious smile and a sweet spirit. Paul was very kind to me and I loved riding around in his Mustang. He will be missed by so many. Thank you, Paul, for your service!

My most sincere condolences to Paul's family. I have lots of good memories of Paul from High School. I remember his quirky humor and intense passion for football and, along with many other classmates, his pride in being part of back-to-back undefeated seasons. We had some great conversations when he returned to Port after his retirement from the military. Sadly, we both moved away and I hadn't seen him for more than 30 years but he will always be fondly remembered as an integral part of the Port Allegany High School class of 1969.

Paul loved his first car, a mustang. Many fond memories of riding around Port Allegany and surrounding hills in his car. He will be missed!
