James Givens Obituary
Mr. James T. Givens (Dale), age 74, of Dover, TN, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, October 9, 2025.
He was born on December 2, 1950, in Decherd, TN, the son of the late Pascal and Cora Etta Givens. Dale worked for many years as a supervisor specializing in railcar parts
Dale was known for his warm personality and love of life. He cherished time spent with his family and friends and especially enjoyed hosting gatherings where everyone felt welcome. He had a passion for motorcycles, traveling, golf, boating, and days spent at the lake. His laughter, friendship, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Margaret, Nora, Patricia, Pascal Lee, Charles, JoAnn, Linda, and Wanda.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Carol Givens; his children, Bradley Givens (Amber), Jessica Givens, Tracy Korasick (Justin), and Chuck Eustis; grandchildren, Allyssa, Ryan (Macy), Victoria, Isabella, Brody and Savannah; brother, Bobby Givens; sisters, Mary Givens and Jimmie VanHooser; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Mr. Givens will be cremated, and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
