SCHULTZ - Carol A.

March 25, 1933 - September 15, 2023

Preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Victor J. Schultz; grandson, Austin Krafft; parents Martin and Hazel Bloch; and sister Beverley J. Ruttinger (Henry A.). Survived by her daughters Kim S. Destro, Jill K. Schultz (Andrew M. Burns), and Patti Schultz Krafft (Robert). Grandmother of Ryan and Jared Destro, and Ashley Krafft. Also survived by two great granddaughters, Aubrey and Eva Destro. Carol grew up in Buffalo, New York. She graduated from Kenmore High School and attended Buffalo State Teacher's College. She married Victor Schultz, and then lived in Mernau, Germany while Victor was serving in the United States Army. Carol and Victor raised three daughters, traveled the world together, and became avid golfers - as members of both Park Country Club and founding members of Tan Tara Country Club. Carol will be remembered for being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a fantastic cook, and loved to host holiday parties for her family and friends. Carol was talkative and outgoing, and continued to make friends throughout her lifetime. Carol passed away peacefully at age 90 in Sarasota, Florida. She will be laid to rest at Acacia Park Cemetery, 4215 Tonawanda Creek Road, North Tonawanda, New York 14120 on October 6, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Carol's family wishes to thank Jim, Mary ("Casey"), and the entire Ackerman family of Bradenton, Florida for their kindness and friendship to Carol.
